Maria Kamargianni from our partner MaaSLab Institute recently discussed the innovative mobility service being developed in Limassol as part of the metaCCAZE project and the EU Mission: Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities on the radio.
During the interview, she outlined the project’s goals, focusing on reducing private car usage and encouraging the shift towards shared transport modes.
She detailed the project’s phases, beginning with children and their after-school activities, and progressing to other commuters eager to transition from private cars to mini-buses. She emphasized the importance of cultural and behavioural changes among the public to ensure the service reaches its full potential.
Additionally, she expanded on the role and purpose of the mobility hub within the project, highlighting its critical function in supporting the shift to more sustainable transportation options.
This initiative marks a significant step towards achieving net zero emission and creating a greener, more sustainable future for Limassol.
