As part of the metaCCAZE project, Munich is stepping up its commitment to sustainable urban logistics. Building on the success of the Viehhof Cargo Bike Logistics Hub, the city is planning to launch a second hub to further promote eco-friendly, last-mile delivery solutions.
The Viehhof hub has demonstrated the viability of eco-friendly urban logistics. It supports businesses engaged in package delivery, construction site supply, and corporate deliveries helping to reduce emissions and traffic congestion. Now, Munich is ready to scale this success by creating — a state-of-the-art facility designed for cargo bike operations and more

- Added features such as Click & Collect lockers, vending machine supply chains, and tool storage for local businesses.
These services aim to support Munich’s 2035 Mobility Strategy, which envisions a future of emission-free, sustainable urban logistics. By reducing congestion, emissions, and parking conflicts, the hub will contribute to a greener, more liveable city.
